1. NOTE THAT by submitting your video to us, you agree that all rights, title and interests in the video (including all copyright and intellectual property rights in it) are hereby assigned to and vests in Singapore Press Holdings Ltd ("SPH") absolutely. You also agree that you will, at SPH's request, execute all documents and do all acts required to effect, perfect and record such assignment. When you assign all your rights in the video to SPH, it generally means that you no longer own the video and SPH becomes the new owner of the video and therefore has all the rights of an owner to deal with the video in any manner SPH deems fit, without having to seek permission from you or anyone else. If you do not agree to the aforesaid assignment, please do not submit your video to us.

2. By submitting your video to us, you are also representing that you are the exclusive owner of the video and that you agree to compensate SPH and to hold it harmless and blameless for any loss, damages, liability or expenses that it may suffer or incur as a result of a breach by you of any rule or regulation or term or condition, or of any representation that you make, or where it turns out that you are not the exclusive owner of the video you submitted to the contest.

3. This contest is open to all.

4. 12 finalists from Category A (15 years and above from date we receive your MMS i.e. at the date of entry) and five finalists from Category B will be shortlisted based on 50 per cent of public voting and 50 per cent by a panel of experts -- to compete in a final showdown at the STOMP MMSing Awards.

5. At the MMSing Awards, a panel of judges (who might be different from those who shortlist the finalists), will judge finalists based on their performances at the awards. The contestants will be judged according to these criteria: vocal quality, appearance, creativity in the interpretation of the songs and presentation.

6. Please note that the final results will be based solely on judging of "live" performances at the STOMP MMSing Awards.

7. All submissions must be filmed or captured by the contributor(s), or be of the contributor(s) singing and filmed or captured by another person at the contributor's request and all videos submitted must be owned exclusively by the contributor and/or contestant to whom these terms and conditions apply. The contributor(s), the person(s) filmed/ captured in the submission and/or the person who filmed or captured the submission are deemed to have consented to posting the submitted video on STOMP. Lip-synching is not allowed in this contest.

8. Minors, that is, those below the age of 16 at the date of entry, must furnish proof that their parents (or guardians) have consented to their participation.

9. All submissions must be filmed or captured by the contributor(s), or be of the contributor(s) singing and filmed or captured by another person at the contributor's request. The contributor(s), the person(s) filmed/ captured in the submission and/or the person who filmed or captured the submission are deemed to have consented to posting the submitted video on STOMP. Lip-synching is not allowed in this contest.

10. All submissions should be at least one minute in duration and should not exceed three minutes.

11. Only MMS videos will be accepted. Entries sent in any other video format will not qualify. Contestants must send the videos via MMS to 75557 or by e-mail to 75557@stomp.com.sg.

12. Entries that contain any illegal, defamatory, obscene, or offensive material will be immediately disqualified. The final decision whether to upload the video clips submitted rests solely with the STOMP editorial team. Its decision is final and No appeal will be entertained. SPH reserves the absolute right to withdraw any video that has been uploaded without assigning any reason for doing so.

13.STOMP assumes no responsibilities for damaged, poor quality, garbled, lost, late, delayed, or misdirected MMSes.

14. The closing date for entries is midnight December 31st, 2008. Voting continues until March 31st, 2009.

15. Voting, which is free, is restricted to 100 votes per registered user per day. Users can vote only once for each video per day. He can, if he so desires, exercise the other 99 votes on another 99 videos.

16. Singapore Press Holdings Limited ("SPH") shall not be held responsible for any losses, damages, costs and expenses that may arise or occur in connection with the contest, including any damage to an entrant's phone equipment, system, software, or any combination thereof as a result of their participation in this contest.

17. All submissions for this contest will belong to Singapore Press Holdings Limited , which reserves the right to use the submission on all media, without further consent from any party

18. Immediate family members of Singapore Press Holdings Limited's employees are not eligible to enter this contest.

19. STOMP reserves the right to modify the rules from time to time.

20. By entering a STOMP contest, you agree that any information collected from you may be disclosed to the authorities or to the courts or to the sponsor(s) of the contest, or may be used to keep you updated on promotions of, or contests, sales or any other event organised by, SPH or any of its business associates and/or partners, or may be used to collect outstanding amounts due from you or to compile statistics.

21. The laws of Singapore shall govern the agreement between you and SPH and the courts of Singapore shall be courts of competent jurisdiction.
